THE UCL GUITAR CLASSES, LONDON, FROM MONDAY 23rd JANUARY
Directed by Carlos the Monday classes are open to keen players of Grade 7 standard (or equivalent) and above.
Want to brush up your guitar-playing? Need to improve your technique? Like to play in a guitar ensemble? Open to dedicated amateur players and aspirant pros just turn up any Monday from 23rd January to 27th March except 13th February. On 3rd April, the last day of term, you can play in a public concert (free admission) with special guest artist. The list of guest artists who have played on these occasions has included many of today's celebrated players of the younger generation. Please see the News panel for a complete list of guest artists.
Try the performance class and begin to take charge of your nerves and not the other way round! Or come to the Ensemble class and have fun playing with other like-minded people, and improve your reading at the same time. Classes run on Monday evenings.
Next term starts on Monday 23rd January and ends on 3rd April (10 sessions, with no classes on 13th February). All the classes will be run by Carlos and the brilliant guitarist Forbes Henderson.

FEES FOR WHOLE TERM OF 10 CLASSES
For one class is £150, both classes on the same evening £225. You can also pay as you go for each class individually: one off £18, both classes in one evening £27.

MORE ABOUT CARLOS' TEACHING
Carlos' students have included some distinguished guitarists and lutenists including Arne Bratland, James Grace, Paul Gregory, Jakob Lindberg, Johannes Moller, Nigel North, Brad Richter, Dario Rossetti-Bonell, Matthew Sear, Morgan Szymanski and Christopher Wilson.
Carlos has published various instruction guides including "Guitar: An Easy Guide" and a series of "Masterclass" articles for the Guitar International Magazine during the 1980's. More recently the Classical Guitar Magazine has re-published some of his articles about technique and musicality first published here in Carlos’ website Blog Page where Carlos has posted many articles focussed on guitar playing, encouraging and inspiring development for the aspirant guitar player. Born of Spanish parents, Carlos Bonell’s history and upbringing are reflected in both his playing and teaching.
